Our Vision
To provide an outpost for Believers that energizes, equips, and encourages them to keep fighting the good fight of faith.
- For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror. You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like. But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it. – James 1:23-25
Our Mission
To nurture, build up, and prepare women of faith to do their own works of ministry; for as they do this they will enlarge and build up the body of Jesus.
- The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, and that the time of the Lord’s favor has come.” – Luke 4:18-19
- Jesus answered them, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor—sick people do. I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners and need to repent.” – Luke 5:31-32
We Believe…
That the Bible was written by God, and is infallible.
- All Scripture is God-breathed and beneficial towards teaching, towards convincing, towards correction, towards instructing in righteousness – 2 Timothy 3:16
That there is only one God, in three persons: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- So that thou shouldest know that the Lord thy God he is God, and there is none beside him. – Deuteronomy 4:35
- Because there are three bearing testimony: in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit- and these three are one – 1 John 5:7
- Jesus says to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through Me. If you had known Me, you would have also known My Father; from now you know Him, and have seen Him. Philip says to Him, Lord, show us the Father and it is sufficient for us. Jesus says to him, Am I so long a time with you and you have not known Me, Philip? The one having seen Me has seen the Father; how do you say, Show us the Father? Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me? The sayings that I speak to you, I do not speak from Myself; however the Father abiding in Me does His works. Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me; however if not, believe because of the works themselves. Truly, truly I say to you, The one believing unto Me, the works that I do, that one also will do, and greater he will do than these, because I am going to the Father. And that which (whatsoever) you might ask in My name, this will I do, so that the Father might be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it. If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Paraclete (Comforter, Helper, legal Advocate, Advisor, Entreater), so that He might be with you unto the age, The Spirit of truth, whom the world is not able to receive because it does not behold nor know Him. You know Him because He abides (remains) with (close beside) you, and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I am coming to you. Yet a little while and the world sees Me no longer, however you behold Me; because I live, you also will live. In that there day you will know that I am in My Father and you in Me, and I in you. The one having (holding, possessing) My commandments and keeping them, that one is the one loving Me; and the one loving Me will be loved by My Father; and I will love him and will make Myself apparent (visible, exhibited) to him. Judas, not the Iscariot, says to Him, Lord, what has happened that You are about to make Yourself apparent to us and not to the world? Jesus answered and said to him, If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word, and My Father will love him, and We will come to him, and will make an abode (room, an abiding) with (close beside) him. The one not loving Me, does not keep My words; and the word that you hear is not Mine, but of the Father having sent Me. I have said these things to you, while abiding with (close beside) you; However the Paraclete, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things and will bring to your remembrance all things that I have said to you. – John 14:6-26
- And this is eternal life, that they should know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent. I glorified You upon the earth, having completed the work that You have given Me that I should do. And now, You Father, glorify Me [along] with Yourself with the glory that I had [along] with You before the world existed. – John 17:3-5
That the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory. Jesus died as a sacrifice to God for OUR sins, so that we are considered blameless and able to enter into eternal life with Him.
- For God thus (in this way) loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, so that everyone believing unto Him should not perish but might have life eternal. For God did not send His Son into the world so that He might judge the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him. The one believing unto Him is not judged; however the one not believing has already been judged because he has not believed unto the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the judgment, that light has come into the world and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their works were evil. For everyone practicing evil things (foul, worthless, bad) hates (detests) the light and does not come to the light, so that his works might be exposed (reproved, convicted, rebuked); However the one doing the truth comes to the light, so that his works might be made apparent that they have been done in God.- John 3:16-21
- And having said these things, they beholding, He was lifted up (lift/raise upon) and a cloud received (took, bore) Him from (away from) their eyes. And as they were looking fixated into the heaven, as He was going, behold, two men stood by then in white apparel, Who said, Men, Galileans, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus having been taken up from you into heaven, will thus come in like manner as you beheld Him going into heaven. – Acts 1:9-11
- How God anointed Jesus from Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power; who went about doing good and healing all that were being overpowered (tyrannized, dominated, to exercise rulership down on) under (by) the devil, because God was with Him. And we are witnesses of all things that He did in the region of the Jews and in Jerusalem; whom also they put to death having hanged him upon a tree. This One God raised up in the third day and gave Him to become apparent, Not to all the people but rather to witnesses having been designated beforehand (preordained) by God to us who did eat and drink with Him after His rising from out of the dead. And He instructed us to preach to the people and to thoroughly testify that it is He having been appointed by God as Judge of the living and the dead. To Him all the prophets testify, that through His name everyone believing unto Him receives the remission of sins. – Acts 10:38-43
That in order to be “saved”, and sure of heaven, man must be regenerated or “born again” by the Holy Spirit.
- Jesus answered and said to him, Truly (Amen), truly (amen) I say to you, If anyone be not born from above, he is not able to see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus says to Him, How is a man able to be born, being old? Is he able to enter a second time into the womb of his mother and be born? Jesus answered, Truly, truly, I say to you, If anyone be not born from out of water and Spirit, he is not able to enter into the kingdom of God. – John 3:3-5
That Jesus Christ is Lord of all and the Great Shepherd of our souls.
- Now the God of peace, having brought the Great Shepherd of the sheep from out of the dead, by (in) the blood of the eternal (age-long) covenant, our Lord Jesus, Completely prepare (prepare, exactly adjust to fully function) you in everything good, to do His will, working in us that which is well-pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory unto the ages of the ages. Amen. – Hebrews 13:20-21
- And there is not salvation in no other one, for there is not another name under heaven having been given among (in) men, in (by) which it is necessary for us to be saved. – Acts 4:12
That baptism in water is a symbol of a Christian’s identification with Christ’s death, burial and resurrection.
- And Peter says (produces an epiphany) to them, Repent (think/understand differently after) and be baptized, everyone of you upon the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission (pardon, send away, releasing of obligation) of your sins and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. – Acts 2:38
- So also you, reckon yourselves to indeed be dead to the sin and living unto God in Christ Jesus. – Romans 6:11
That baptism in the Holy Spirit is a gift from God, after man is “born again” and his soul is regenerated. This experience is accompanied by the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit Himself gives utterance.
- And being assembled together, He instructed them not to depart from Jerusalem, but rather to await the promise of the Father, which [said he] you heard of me. For John indeed baptized with water; however you will be baptized in the Holy Spirit, after not many days. … But rather you will receive power, the Holy Spirit having come (overtake, come upon) upon you and you will be My witnesses, in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and Samaria, and unto the end of the earth. – Acts 1:4-5, 8
- And they were all filled (filled to capacity, supplied, furnished, replete) with the Holy Spirit, and began (commenced) to speak with other tongues, just as the Spirit was giving to them to utter out. – Acts 2:4
- While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those hearing the word. And all the believers from out of the circumcision as many as had come with Peter were astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit has been poured out even upon the ethnicities. For they heard them speaking with tongues and magnifying God. … – Acts 10:44-46
- And Paul having laid hands UPON them, the Holy Spirit came UPON them; and they were speaking with tongues and prophesying. – Acts 19:6
That the Holy Spirit is alive and ministering on the earth today, and by His living in us (Christians) we are able to live a godly life.
- But (And, Now) the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy (delight, gladness), peace (serenity), patience (forbearance, long to passion/anger), useful kindness (goodness, useable, well-fit for what is really needed, kindness that is serviceable, goodness that meets a need and avoids harshness), intrinsic goodness (goodness/kindness/favorable of nature, stresses the kindly rather than righteous side of goodness), faithfulness (faith), Meekness (balanced gentle-strength, mildness, gentleness, balanced reserve, modesty), inner control (temperance, control/mastery/dominion within, continence= to withhold, restraint one imposes, containing): against such kind there is no law. And those of Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its depraved passion capacity (pathologies, capacity to feel strong emotions, raw depraved passions, that which befalls one, vices) and its strong passions built on inordinate urges (irregular lust, inordinate desires, passionate longing, lust). If we live by the Spirit, we should also walk in cadence (keep in step, be in rows/lines/rank) by the Spirit. – Galatians 5:22-25
That divine healing for our physical body is available today through the power of God and the prayer of faith…and by the laying on of hands. It is provided for in the atonement of Jesus’ death, and is the privilege of every believer.
- Who Himself bore (offered up, carried/lead/brought up) our sins in His body upon the tree, so that having been dead to sins, we might live to righteousness (justice); by whose wounds (bruises, stripes left by scourging) you have been healed. – 1 Peter 2:24
- Is anyone among you suffering evil (pain, hardship, affliction)? Let him pray; Is anyone cheerful (of good passion)? Let him make music (sing/play psalms); Is anyone sick (weak, feeble, infirmed) among you? Let him call to the elders of the church and let them pray upon him, having anointed him with oil (olive oil) in the name of the Lord. – James 5:13-15
- And these signs will accompany close beside (follow) those having believed; In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new (fresh) tongues; {And in their hands} They will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly it shall not hurt them; they will lay hands upon the sick (not-departing thus a persisting illness) and they will be well (good). – Mark 16:17-18
That both Christians and non-Christians will one day be raised from the dead and judged, and that the saved will be blessed with God for eternity, while those without Christ will experience everlasting punishment.
- Having a hope unto God, which they themselves also await expectedly, that there is about to be a resurrection of the just and of the unjust. – Acts 24:15
- And He will send His angels with a great trumpet sound, and they will gather together (gather together upon) His elect from out of the four winds, from the extremities of the heavens, as far as their extremities. And learn the parable from the fig tree: When already its branch becomes tender and sprouts leaves, you know that the summer is near. So also you, when you see all these things, know that it is near, upon the doors. Truly I say to you, that this generation will not have passed away until all these things shall have happened. The heaven and the earth will pass away, however My words shall not pass away. And concerning that there day and hour, no one knows, not even the angels of the heavens, nor the Son, except only the Father. For just as [were] the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. For like as they were in those there days before the cataclysmic flood (deluge, inundation, flood over, rough water/wave/surge down against, cataclysm), eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until that day Noah entered into the ark. And they did not know until the cataclysmic flood came and took away all; and thus will be the coming of the Son of Man. Then two will be in the field; one is taken (aggressively taken/received from close alongside), and one is left. Two women grinding at the mill, one is taken, and one is left. Keep watch (Be vigilant), therefore, because you do not know on what day your Lord comes. And know this, that if the master of the house had known in what watch the thief comes, he would have kept watch, and not have allowed his house to be broken into. Because of this also, you be ready, because in that hour that you do not suppose the Son of Man comes. Who then is the faithful and smart (sensible, prudently intelligent, practically wise, savvy, shrewd) bond-servant, whom the lord has set over (upon) his household to give to them the food in fitting season (opportune time)? Blessed is that there bond-servant, whom his lord having come will find doing thus. – Matthew 24:31-46
- The one being unrighteous (unjust), let him be unrighteous still; and he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; and he who is righteous (just), let him practice righteousness (justice) still; and he who is holy, let him be holy still. – Revelation 22:11
That all those who believe in Christ are united spiritually as one body, the Church.
- A Song of Degrees. See now! what is so good, or what so pleasant, as for brethren to dwell together? It is as ointment on the head, that ran down to the beard, even the beard of Aaron; that ran down to the fringe of his clothing. As the dew of Aermon, that comes down on the mountains of Sion: for there, the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for ever. – Psalm 133
- To walk worthily of the Lord in all pleasing, in every good work bringing forth fruit and growing in the knowledge of God; Being strengthened (empowered, made able) in all power according to His glorious might (dominion, exerted power) unto all endurance and long-tempered (long in tempering passions) with joy – Colossians 3:10-11
